Come as you are.
On any given Sunday you'll find people dressed in everything from jeans and polo shirts to jackets and dresses. There is no dress code. We care much more about meeting you than about what you're wearing.
Our worship service follows a traditional pattern of gathering, prayer, Scripture reading, preaching, music, and monthly communion.
Services typically last about one hour.
Music is an important part of our life together. Congregational singing, choir music, and special musical offerings are regular features of worship.
Children are always welcome in worship.
We also offer Children's Church during the service, where children can learn Bible stories, prayer, and the rhythms of the Christian year in a safe and nurturing environment.
Families are welcome to decide what works best for their children. Some children remain in worship with their parents, while others participate in Children's Church.
For more information about children's programming, please visit our Children's Ministry page or contact the church office.
No.
People come to St. John's from many different faith backgrounds, and some come with no church background at all.
You do not need to be Presbyterian to attend worship, participate in church activities, or become part of our community.
Presbyterians believe that God's grace is revealed most fully in Jesus Christ.
We seek to follow Jesus by worshiping God, studying Scripture, caring for one another, and serving the world.
We welcome questions and believe that faith grows through learning, conversation, and prayer.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper the first Sunday of every month.
All who trust in Jesus Christ, or who desire to know him more fully, are welcome at Christ's table.
Our facilities are accessible to individuals with mobility needs. If there is anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable, please let us know.
If you have questions about worship, faith, baptism, membership, weddings, memorial services, or any of our ministries, we'd be happy to help.
