Giving at St. John's
“Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)
Your giving is part of our shared life
At St. John’s, giving is one of the ways we live out our mission to worship God, love one another, and serve the world. When you give, you are not simply supporting an institution. You are participating in the life and ministry of this community and helping to extend that ministry into Reno and beyond.
What your giving makes possible
Your generosity supports:

-
Worship that is grounded in scripture and shaped by music, prayer, and community
-
Care for one another, through meals, visitation, and compassionate support in times of need
-
Service in the wider community, including partnerships with local organizations and hands-on outreach
-
A shared space for the community, where support groups, volunteer organizations, and music groups gather each week
-
St. John’s Children’s Center, where families are supported and children are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment

Giving as a spiritual practice
Giving is not simply about meeting a budget. It is a way of responding to God’s generosity with gratitude and trust. Whether your gift is large or small, one-time or recurring, it is received with deep appreciation for the good it makes possible.
