St. John's Children's Center

Infant / Toddlers
St. John's Children's Center opened this program in 2008 by offering care for employee children. In 2011 we offered a complete program for infants and toddlers which is licensed by Washoe County Department of Social Services for children 8 weeks to 36 months. Our philosophy for infants and toddlers is Love and Security.

Our Toddler program also has a weekly curriculum where there is circle time, art activities, music, movement, manipulatives, and outside time. In both of these programs the children learn through Play and by participating in hands-on activities.

The hours for the Infant / Toddler program are:
7:30 AM - 5:00 PM - - Monday - Friday

St. John's Children's Center offers a well–rounded preschool program which includes Christian values, dramatic play, music, language arts, science, and art. Parents may choose one of several schedules to suit their needs and the needs of their children. The schedules may all be full or half days. Activities include dramatic play, creative art, music and movement, math and science, manipulatives, stories and games, Christian values, sensory activities, cooking, outdoor play, and field trips. Children learn through their play and by participating in hands-on activities in both small and large groups.

Children must be three years old by September 30th and completely toilet-trained to enroll in the preschool program.
