Middle School Youth Connection is St. John’s fellowship group for middle
school age young adults. MSYC supplements the Sunday morning program of Christian education.
Calendar of Events for September
Leadership is provided by St. John’s Director of Christian Education,
Pam Ramseth, assisted by a corps of older youth and adults.
MSYC gathers each Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Middle School
room on the second floor of the Christian Education wing.
Sunday evening gatherings are supplemented with retreats and
lock ins several times each year. Topics covered include Bible study
and study of concerns and topics of direct interest to middle school
age young adults, such as self esteem, human sexuality, dating and peer relationships.
Each December MSYC participants host Parents’ Day Out child care,
so that parents can Christmas shop and to raise funds for the
MYSC mission project, Children’s Behavioral Services (CBS).
With funds from Parents’ Day Out, MYSC purchases Christmas
gifts for the children at CBS.
