St. John's worships with the richness of traditional hymns,
following the Common Lectionary and the Book of Order of
Common Worship of the Presbyterian Church.
Welcome to all who gather to worship.
May you find rest within God's sanctuary,
grace to set your mind on Jesus,
and peace to set your heart at rest.

Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.

Christian Education classes are available for children and adults.

We invite you to join us!

Blue prayer slips are also in the front of the Friendship Register for use in requesting special prayers during service. You may place the completed slips in the plate at the offering. Our nursery is located in the first room to the right just inside the double glass doors of the education wing. We also have available an alternative activity time in Room E 110 called Kingdom Kids for children ages 3, 4 and kindergarteners.

Please complete a blue Kingdom Kids Registration form, available on line from the main page menu, or in the pew pocket. Children may go to Kingdom Kids any time during worship, from beginning to end. Only parents (not siblings or friends) should pick up their children after worship.

Everyone is invited to share fellowship out in the forecourt outside of the Narthex in warmer months, and in Martin Hall during colder months. Refreshments are available following the worship service.

Church Information The church newsletter, The Carillon along with copies of recent sermons and brochures about programs of St. John's are available in spinners and racks in Martin Hall.

Worship bags enhance worship for both parents and young children. Worship bags contain items like colored pencils, paper and a short story book to be used along with the children's bulletin to provide quiet activities.
Loaner worship bags are available from an usher in the Narthex to be returned there following the service. You can create your own worship bag; suggestions and instructions for doing so are available on a spinner rack in Martin Hall.

Hearing assist Devices are available from an Usher. They are wireless and permit users to sit anywhere in the Sanctuary. For best results, turn off all other hearing assist devices.

The Bride's Lounge, located to the left of the Sanctuary, is available for use by mothers with infants during the worship service should the need arise. The room is equipped with speakers to hear the worship service.
