Announcing the Family Promise Golf Tournament Fund Raiser
Family Promise of Reno/Sparks 1st Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 31st at Washoe Golf Course. All funds raised go to support the Family Promise Programs. The tournament will begin at 8:00 AM with a four man scramble shotgun start.
At 12:30, there will be a lunch, raffle, and silent auction.

Next Family Promise Hosting is May 4-11, 2008
St. John's will be hosting Family Promise guests the week of May 4-11th. There are many opportunities available to help out with this local mission project. During this week we provide housing to families that are working towards getting a stable, safe home of their own. We need help with dinners, hosting, setting up, breakdown, and overnights.
Overnight is one of the easiest positions. Bring a pillow and sleeping bag and try out our new beds for volunteers. You sleep over from 9:00 PM until 7:00 AM. There are even showers available if you need to go from church to work.
