The Navigators Mariners group was formed in the fall of 1997; it is one of
St. John's newest fellowship and service groups. The group consists of singles and couples with
young children. There are events planned to include children as well as those solely for adults.
Among the group's activities are serving meals at the Reno Sparks Gospel Mission for its "cargo"
project, movie nights, costume parties, summer outings like picnics in the park and special dinners.
It joins other Mariners groups at the Fleet Dinner and auction to raise funds for St. John's Resident Camp.
